Describe the complete opening

Give the width, height and units, then describe the frame and how the window or door opens. Include any handles, narrow mounting surfaces or existing screen fittings that may affect compatibility.

Discuss mesh and fixings together

Tell the team how your pet interacts with screens. A mesh choice alone does not establish that a complete screen and its fixings can withstand an animal pushing or climbing against it. Ask us to confirm the proposed screen and mounting arrangement.

Check suitability before ordering

Review the product, measurements and installation requirements in your quote. If you need animal containment or protection at a height, use a purpose-designed safety system and obtain suitable advice for that opening.

Is pet mesh a safety barrier for my cat?

No. Insect mesh is not a tested animal restraint or fall-protection system. Do not rely on it to prevent a pet escaping or falling from an open window.

What should I put in the quote form?

Include the opening size and units, quantity, preferred frame colour, the type of opening and the pet you have. Put any fitting or behaviour details in the Size & Quantity field.

Can the team check a non-standard opening?

Send the measurements and a description of the frame. The team can review the available screen options and ask for any further fitting information needed.
