What makes pet mesh different from normal fly screen?
It is woven 10 x 16 from heavy vinyl-coated polyester yarn instead of thin fibreglass. A cat goes through ordinary screen in days; this does not tear under claws.
Will it stop my cat getting out?
It keeps a cat off an open window ledge and takes scratching and leaning in its stride. It is not a restraint device or a fall-prevention barrier, and we would rather say that plainly than oversell it.
What about dogs?
Dog claws are fine. A large dog throwing its full weight at a screen is a different force altogether, so tell us about the animal and we will be straight about whether it holds.
What sizes can be made?
Standard sizes run to 200 x 200 cm and you cut them down to fit. Larger openings, doors, and whole-house jobs are what this quote form is for.
Does it still keep insects out?
Yes. It is an insect mesh first: flies and mosquitoes stay outside, and because the yarn is dark you keep a clear view out.

When to ask for a quote
Standard cat-proof sizes run to 200 x 200 cm. Ask for a quote for anything larger, for a door rather than a window, or if you want the whole house done at once.
What it does and does not do
